Terms & license.

Plain terms for a one-time purchase: what you get, what you can do with it, and where the limits are.

What you are buying

duply Launch Kit is a one-time digital product: the full source code of a TanStack Start starter, its components, mock data, design tokens, and the integration skills that ship with it. There is no subscription and no recurring fee. You pay once and the files are yours to use under the license below.

Payment and delivery are handled by Polar, our Merchant of Record. Polar sells the product to you, charges your card, handles any tax, and sends your receipt and download. Your purchase contract for the transaction is with Polar; this license governs what you may do with the code once you have it.

License grant

On purchase you get a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use the kit. You may:

  • Use it in an unlimited number of projects, with no per-seat or per-project cap.
  • Use it for personal projects, your own commercial products, and work you build for clients.
  • Modify the source however you like and ship the result.
  • Hand off the working code to the client it was built for as part of that project.

The license is granted to one buyer (a person or a single company). If you are a team or agency, the buying company holds the license and its own staff may build on it.

What you may not do

The license covers building products. It does not let you resell the kit itself. You may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or give away the kit as source code, a template, a boilerplate, or a starter, whether free or paid.
  • Publish it in a public repository or any place where others can take the source for their own projects.
  • Build a competing product whose main value is reselling these files substantially as we ship them.

The line is simple: ship things made with the kit, do not ship the kit.

Ownership and IP

We own the kit. The license grants you use of it, not ownership of it, and it does not transfer our copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property in the original source.

You own everything you build on top of it: your code, your content, your brand, your changes. Nothing here gives us a claim to your product. The duply name and logo stay ours; you do not get a right to use them as your own brand.

No warranty

The kit is provided as-is and as-available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it is error-free, that it fits a particular purpose, that it is secure, or that it will run without interruption in your environment.

It is a foundation you are expected to read, configure, and test before you ship. You are responsible for reviewing the code, wiring your own integrations, and meeting the security, privacy, and legal requirements of whatever you build with it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or business, arising from your use of the kit.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the kit is limited to the amount you paid for it. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Refunds

The kit is digital and delivered immediately, so once you have downloaded the source you have received the full product. We do not offer refunds for change of mind after download.

If something is genuinely broken, the wrong product was delivered, or a charge looks wrong, contact us first and we will make it right. Refunds are processed by Polar as the Merchant of Record, in line with their terms and any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Independent analysis

duply is an independent product. Any third-party names, frameworks, or services mentioned in the kit or its docs are referenced for compatibility and comparison only. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those companies, and references to them do not imply any partnership.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product changes. The license you bought under continues to apply to that purchase; updated terms apply to new purchases from the date they are posted.
